Hi,

I don't know exactly what do you mean by authentic. It is a bosnian dagger from the end of the 19th century, made as a souvenir for those who travel for pleasure...

Whatever, it is of beautiful craftmanship and personally if I would found it, it would be a part of my collection. So Congratulations, you have a nice piece there!

My information tells me it is from Focha Bosnia and from the 19th century like Valjhun says.

The scabbard is right for this type of piece. It may be tarnished silver also if not brass or very low grade silver if I read the pictures right.

I like these for the silver filigree and corals used. Nice piece.
