Default Langgai tinggang

An very rare find this Langgai tingggang it comes with an utility knife not the normal pisa raout we normally see with the Parang Ilang .

The Handle has nice scroll and leech designs and headtrophy spirit
the area is Saribas .

The longest tail feather of a rhinoceros Hornbill is represented by the groove on the blade .

Also the metal bands indicate that this one is from the north part off Sarawak.

The scabbard on the front is heavy black/red hard wood .

Nice carrying band .

Indication off age is first part off the 19 centh.
