Default A Lovely Old Ottoman Court Dagger That Was Worn Long After Its Prime!!

I have acquired this lovely old Ottoman court dagger with an impressive jade hilt with faux gems, and gorgeous Persian wootz blade. One of the more intriguing aspects of the dagger is the rather ugly scabbard it came in.

This is clearly not the original scabbard, but to me it does illustrate a great desire to extend its service life long after its prime!!

I would love any input on dating the dagger itself.
