Default Dutch small sword

As Jim has shown here it is based on the early 19th c French models.
One would expect this one to be older but Yours is around 1890 - 1910 and was mainly worn by people in political functions.
We see these quite often here , they are also called ' Mayor swords"
( Burgemeester degen ) .
They were worn by Mayors up untill the 1950's here are some pictures.
