Hello,

it is a recent Omani Khanjar but not especially made for tourists. Also the locals wear daggers like this. The metal mountings on the dagger are handcrafted and made of silver, the embroidery too. The handle is made of rhino imitate because as far as I know in Oman it is forbidden to use real rhino since the 1990s.
The "coins" are made of silver, too and are simply decoration elements and no coin imitations.
All in all a nice piece of Omani craftmanship, you don't have to be sad if the dagger didn't cost a fortune.
