Hi Rick. I would also say that is Burmese, but I'm interested to hear from our new Thai members.

I'm inclined to lean that way by the handle shape and downward tilt, along with that blade marking (which Mark has suggested is a stylized peacock--a significant animal in Burma).

What are the dimensions of this thing? Could you show us the tip?
