It was visible to connoisseurs that the visor of this helmet is a (much) later replacement. But skipping over such 'minor' detail, the worse was that the dimension and angle of its vision slits was hardly plausible, unless it was commissioned for a young knight suffering of strabismus.
An hour with a local skilled smith and the visor gained its regular ... vision. Well, it didn't gain any real age with such surgery but, at least, you can engage in a joust with it and see your foe .
