Default Persian Karabela with Zulfiqar blade?

Hello,

This large sword was sold on the bay last week and it brought on some questions. 41" long with a 35" long, 2" wide blade, split tip.

Immediate thought was of a Persian, Qajar "revival" blade with a karabela hilt. In some older threads on karabela similar hilts were identified as produced in Turkey or possibly Persia.

Thoughts? Is this piece a legitimate piece or a random assembly?
