Turkish knife

Hello All!

I bought another Turkish tuorist knife.

For the price it was as cheap as chips! The odd thing is that it slightly resembles the old Ottoman military issue knife. It is of good quality for a tourist knife . The materials are even similer being brass and both are carved with similer patterns. It is even about the same size as the origenl. Does anyone else see this resemblence, or is it my mind playing tricks on me?
