Metal wrapped javanese hilt

Jean Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,740	I hope that Alan will be able to comment on the probable origin of this hilt? I don't remember to have seen a similar piece in Solo or elsewhere. Attached are the pictures of a Cirebon hilt made from silver alloy on a resin core (bought in 1995 in Jakarta, semi old I think). Best regards and happy New Year to all! Jean Attached Images
