Thanks B.I. I think I'm going to buy this book.
 Is the mail Aventail on the helmet original? Muhammad Ibn Qalawun died around 1341 AD, and yet that aventail is strikingly similar to "Indo-Persian" mail aventails on 17th-18th century "kulah khud" style helmets. |
