Default Period miniature wheellock ?

I’ve recently acquired what looks to be a period late 16th/ early 17th century ball but miniature wheellock, it’s stock is made of burl walnut and I was just wondering what your opinions on it are as I’m not an expert and just wanted to know if you think it is authentic for the time period.
