Muy Bien, Carlos! Congratulations! Looks like coin silver mounts, though lighting could be a factor. Would you show closeups of the blade?

In the book by Dora Boskovic "Zbirka yatagana u Hrvatskom Muzeju u Zagrebu" ( Yataghan collection in the Croatian Museum in Zagreb) there are quite a lot of yataghans with brass/bronze ears of identical configuration. Likely, all come from Bosnia and Serbia ( Croatia as such was not conrtolled by the Ottomans).
The author most often cited in the book is Marija Sercer. Together with the author and Astvatsaturyan this is a powerful female trio of weapon historians. Latent male chauvinists can just bite theit collective tongue |

Another from the same maker
Hallo Carlos et all, the date is 1806, not 1866!
The dagger is for sure balkan, it can be Greek from Epirus but i cannot say that for sure. I am posting photos of a similar dagger, made obviously by the same maker, although this is made with niello work, and there is gold leaf in some pasts. The date is the same! |

Efthis, you also have a nice piece, appears to be brass and silver with niello.
You and Ariel have been very helpful, thank you. |
