				 | Bronze spear head African?

Hi All, A friend just came into possession of this spear head he thinks bronze about 18 inches long. I am guessing Benin Bronze, Congo or there abouts I think the bottom is broken where it would have gone into shaft. Engraving is just on one side. Has anyone any idea as to what it is, trade spear or ceremonial are my taughts and any idea on age? Regards Ken |

Interesting Chinese! All I can tell about its origin is that it has been in an old collection for 40 odd years. Could it be a potentially old piece then Regards, Ken |

This is a copy of an ancient Chinese bronze sword. These have been made in tens of thousands for at least 150 years. Buying an original sword is equivalent to winning $100,000 in the lottery.
