Mark on a flintlock
Is there anybody here to tell me what this mark at the lock of a British flintlock pistol stands for?

Here it is. I think this is a pistol of a Persian contract about 1840/50 and the mark could be from a Persian arsenal as Isfahan etc.

Possibly, and I emphasise possibly, Allah at the top, Mohammed to the right and Ali to the left.

You’re correct: indeed Allah, Mohamed and Ali ( although the letter “A” in Ali is not clear)

Many thanks: Allah, Mohamed & Ali! This is not what I hoped that it was.
