Yunnan sword?

I’ve got recently a mysterious sword. It has a well forged, sharp and heavy blade with a wide fuller and an engraving, which reminds me of Dha. The fittings are made of wood and white metal and have a Chinese feeling to them. The closest sword I have seen belongs to Ian, although his example is older and better made:

Another similar example I have found on the Josh Stout’s Photobucket site. It is featured below.
I believe all of them originate from Yunnan or other border region from China. Is there any new information on the Yunnan swords?

The example of mine you posted is Vietnamese with a Chinese style blade. Another similar example from the Chinese minority border region would be Shan dha, from the Burmese/Chinese border, called taidoa in China. Yours might be closer to those, but it is a modern example with many elements not seen on older examples. I have seen other modern ones, which sometimes can be well made. I like the crescent moon motif, certainly a sign of minority influence, on the Chinese style guard.
