Thanks so much for posting these! I haven't seen pics of the Musee in years. I was asked by a client once years back to replicate the tassets of the late 15th/early 16th century infantry armour with open faced sallet and bevor in the 10th from the last picture. They have a wonderfull collection ( the savoyard and tottenkopff helmets are especially nice ).

To clarify something Sylectis,
Was this helmet actually blue colored? If so it is a good example of fire bluing. Some were purple as well. Ric |

You're right Richard, I used an "auto adjust colors" filter to improve the inner light of the museum, but sometimes this works reverse.
