Default shield, helmet indopersian ,kajar for comment

the shield measures 45 cm diameter inlaid with gold and silver...the chain mail of helmets are not riveted, they are 5 mm in diameter and are two tone mail

I agree, 19th century Qajar, and of good quality What's interesting is that it seems to be a matching pair, which is quite cool. Even though this chiseling is typical of Qajar, both items show the same pattern/details. Really cool, after 100+ years both items remained together. only the bazuband (arm guard) went astray:-) Nice pair!

I myself have a helmet Kulah Khud "Qajar", so I studied enough my model
and yours has all the aspects of a real helmet Persian Qajar era

as Alex pointed out, you're lucky enough to have the shield, which is two pieces on 3 that normally equip the Persian Princes

congratulations, very attractive armor
