Default EDGED WEAPONS IN VIETNAM!!,HELP, PLEASE!!

HELLO EVERYBODY!!
I NEED YOURS HELP!!, A GOOD FRIENDS OF MINE ARE GOING TO PASS 15 DAYS TO VIETNAM AND THEY HAVE SAID TO ME THAT IF I WANT THAT THEY BRING SOME TO ME. WHAT KIND OF EDGED WEAPON COULD FIND IN VIETNAM?, PRINCIPALLY KNIFES, IT IS BETTER TO PUT IN THE SUITCASE!! . PLEASE, COULD YOU PUT SOME PICTURES TO GIVE PICTURES TO MY FRIEND!!

Hi Carlos:

Here are a few examples of knives from Vietnam and nearby.

The top one which looks like a bowie on steroids is a 20th C. fighting kife (Vietnam War-era bring back). The rest are more typical working/utility knives which could (and do) double for weapons very readily.

The second one is from a Montagnard group in the mountains of Laos/Northern Vietnam. The next two are fairly typical knives found mainly in rural areas of Vietnam. The last one is a Cambodian knife, also found in adjacent S. Vietnam. (Sharpened edge is towards the bottom of each picture.)

Hope this helps your friends to find some treasures for you.

Please post pictures of what they bring back.
