Hi
This is a recent acquisition that forumites might like to see. From Fiji and carved from one piece of wood, nine feet long. The amount of work involved must have been tremendous... |

WOW, Now that is nice. At nine feet long how was it shipped without being broken? I wonder how long it would take to carve something like this ???

CONGRADULATIONS! A BEAUTIFUL SPEAR DIFFICULT AND EXPENSIVE TO COME BY THESE DAYS.
IN THE OLD DAYS IT WAS EASY TO GET THEM JUST VISIT FIJI AND THEY WOULD THROW THEM AT YOU. JUST PICK THEM UP AND RUN, AND NEVER STAY FOR DINNER ![]() 1. VARIOUS FIJI SPEAR HEADS 2. A FIJI WARRIOR WITH A SPEAR SIMULAR TO YOURS, NOTE: THE NECKLACE IT KIND OF REMINDS ME OF THE BARBS ON THE SPEAR. |
