Gunong/Moro Dagger for Sale
Up for sale is a gunong from the 1930s. The pommel is ivory and the mounts are white metal. It is from the Maranao tribe on Mindanao. Maranao okir on top and bottom and both sides of scabbard. There filigree on the hilt are some missing. There is some evidence of lamination on the 13 luk blade (slightly loose but solid). A great example and complete.
Another note is that the 2 stars on the scabbard tested as gold (at least 10k or higher). Asking $350 plus shipping. Any questions or interest please contact me at battara@hotmail.com |
