Default Kaskara needs Arabic translator!!!

I got this kaskara a while back as I believed , because of the red leather grip cover, that it was Eritrean. I still believe that. The blade seems to be of good quality. The steel cross guard is certainly of superior quality. The fact that it has an inscription in Arabic does not disprove my assumption that it is Eritrean. Arabic is one of the two official languages of Eritrea, the other one being Tigrygna. At this point I really someone to translate this for me, hoping that it does not mean MADE IN TAIWAN WITH SCRAP METAL FROM CANADA.... Thanks.

Just looking through old posts, and found this....cant believe it was never answered!!
I am wondering why the red colored hint would have suggested Eritrea. Would this coloration have had significance there?

...I saw this post recently and was surprised that it was not answered too. Perhaps translation requests could be "grouped"?

I wasn't aware of a connection between red leather and Eritrea. The hilt covering does look different from the usual ones we see.

Have a look at:

...never mind the quality, feel the width
