Default Axe or helebard?

Does anyone know is it axe or helebard head?
And maybe origin and time?

It best matches a Saxon miner's axe. 17th/18th century. Nice axe!

I think it looks like a Croatian battle axe. They are something in between bardiche and axe and most likely extremely formidable weapons. You can google examples online. There are also halberd versions that I saw in Trakoscan and Varazdin castles. Interestingly your item seems to have a makerĀ’s mark and remains of gilt/brass inlays. The latter means itĀ’s not munitions grade but probably used by an officer. Your item has a rectangular socket so more likely an axe?
