Hi gents,
Can you please help me to identify this knife? Is it Brazilian Faca de Ponta or Genovese Coltello, or Spanish Punal? Thank you Alex |

Hello Alex,
I would vote for Faca de Ponta. It seems to be very old, mid 19th century? Handle, blade shape point to Brazil but frankly said it would be the first I see with pierced blade. ![]() Please compare: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...highlight=faca Regards, Detlef |

Thanks! I vote for Faca de Ponta as well, but like you said, the pierced blades not typical for Brazilian knifes. So, there is a chance that it was made in Europe for Brazilian market.
