Here is my Christmas present, a wrong described Minasbad. The seller has described it as African sword and since I just have sold something I was able to afford it, only two other bidder going to get it.

A very nice example! I have never seen rattan woven like that, but I have never seen rattan that wide woven at all....very cool look!

Merry Christmas to you and your family also! And thank you. Charles, I am with you, I also have never seen before this way rattan binding. The complete sword with scabbard is in a very good condition with the exception of the small missing piece of wood at the mouth of the scabbard. Have already asked the seller if he still keep this piece of wood but haven't answer until now. Best regards, Detlef |
