Default Unusual hilt

A strange old hilt from Java. The animal on the base is a sacred bull (?) with wings. Can any keris forum friends to help me to know what he is?

Default Just a wild guess

the sacred bull, Nandi, is one of the vehicles of Vishnu. Vishnu had a lion avatar, so the lion face could be Vishnu.
