Chinese-Japanese ''monster'' statue ?
Hello dear members,
I wanted to show you this statue-bowl, it seems pretty old , First I thought it was a bull or a big cat, I don't know exactly what it is, a devil ? monster ? Yokai if it's japanese... I wanted first put candy inside but not sure... Does anybody know were it come from and what it represents ? Kind regards !! |

It's a cat taking a dump.
Humorous Meji era Japanese writing brush washing pot. You could use it for storing kitty snacks, but I'd wash it thoroughly first. |

Aha! Showing the seated rider would have obviated the Neko theory.
