Default Sumbawa sword for sharing

Hello members,

some time ago I did a gambling by E-bay since I bought by this poor picture a Sumbawa sword/golok. But the price from 130$ was it worth to try this gamble.

After cleaning and etching the blade I am very happy that I have bought it. Do you agree? It is 59 cm long inside the sheath (23.23 inch). Now i still want to try to replace the missing inlays at the handle with MOP.

Hi Danny,

the surprise I have had by cleaning the blade in lemon acid already. The blade was corroded but not deep.

Detlef

Hello Robert,

thank you! It isn't the newest addition, I have bought it more than one year ago (the date at the first picture from the seller is wrong) but I want to show the sword in good condition.

Regards,

Detlef
