User Name Tags for Timonium
JP gave me a great idea last night. Many of us have already met, or have exchanged photos on the various "mugshot" threads. However, it would be nice to have name tags at Timonium with our usernames for ease of identification.
I can print these tags up with simple adhesive backing. If you are interested, and would like tags for Friday and Saturday night's seminars, please post here and I'll bring them with me. If you would like, feel free to provide your real name, and I'll put that on the labels as well. Artzi and Lee, I'd be happy to print up tags for all registered attendees if you'll email me a list. |

Andrew: I will be more than happy to allow you to relieve me of this task. Just let me know the cut-off date for when I need to send the file of registrants names. Also, I have recently purchased a portable digital projector which should be adequate to the task, so it will not be necessary for you to borrow one and bring it up on the plane to the seminar as you so kindly did last year (though that professional grade unit is better than mine ).
To All: Registrations for the seminar have stalled for the last couple of weeks. Many of you who have discussed attending in the forums have yet to register. A list of those who have actually registered is on the seminar information page. Please do not wait until the last few days to register. As food service headcounts are involved it is my understanding that it will not be possible to register at the door. |

It would help if user names were provided with real names for those attendees who are also forum members. I'll also make tags for non-members and guest speakers. Let me know if you need me to borrow another projector. As luck would have it, I have a new client in the industry. |

I have added an additional speaker to the agenda for Friday night and have also updated the list of registrants (there are 24 to date). Important concept: If you have not sent me your $20, you are not registered.
I have also added a link to the seminar information page with audiovisual support information for presenters. If you are wanting your member name on your name tag, be sure to include it when you register, or e-mail it to me after the fact. I have never made much of an attempt to correlate 'real names' with 'screen names' and will not have time to play detective with these. Thanks... Lee |

Final Registration Reminder
Just a reminder, I will be sending the list of registrants to Andrew first thing on Monday morning, so if you are not registered by then, you will not be getting a nicely made up nametag...
Do not expect me to know your forum user name and to automatically correlate it with your forum registration name. I will be making absolutely no attempt to do this - I am not trying to be tough, but my plate is full with finalizing my own presentation and helping others get their powerpoint presentations checked out. If you want your user name included on the nametag, I suggest you get an e-mail/PM off to Andrew or myself before Monday... |
