Some kind of Eastern weapon
Dear colleagues,
Just wondering if this "weapon" has any real prototype or it's a fantasy thing? Thanks in advance for the answers! |

For me it's fantasy. I think it's not forged but cast.

Nope!
Neither Eastern, nor Western and not even weapon, but purely fantasy "thing." These "things" (because I cannot in good faith call it a weapon) are completely unpractical as even a kitchen knife, and possibly even a fork is more effective. Not to mention John Wick's pencil... It looks like something inspired by a haladie. But, that would have 3 dagger blades instead of the silly pizza slicer.

Moreover, the under-grip edge might be extremely effective (like a korambi/lavi ayam knife)... while the upper edge might also be effective... at injuring the wielder. |

Moderator's Comment
Guys,
This is another fantasy item bearing little, if any, resemblance to an ethnographic weapon. As noted in another recent thread, which I closed for off topic comments, this Forum is not about fantasy items. I realize these are difficult times and folks want to have a bit of fun. However, let's get back to the title of this Forum--ethnographic arms and armour. There are other sites that address the fantasy stuff. Ian. |
