Default SWORD for ID

What kind of sword is this? It was purchased in England. How old is the sword? It has 108 cm.Thank you.

It is a Sudanese kaskara. Better images would be needed to really tell you much about it. From the crude nature of the cross guard it looks like a later piece, certainly 20th century.

In my opinion, later than the 1940s. The blade is roughly ground from scrap steel. The guard is also roughly formed with visible file marks. These swords are still made today.

Default kaskara

hello looks like a 19th 20th century sudanese kaskara some of the blades in these can be early,unfortunatley i dont think yours is,but a nice example of a not uncommon sword
