Trip to Jordan
Hallo a friend of mine, who loves of antiques and edged weapons, has just arrived to Jordan, and he will stay for 2-3 more days. He asks me if anybody has any advise for him regarding where to find antiques or antique weapons.
Regards, Eftihis |

Hello Eftihis,
I do not think it's possible to find anything decent at Amman's markets nowadays. I'd take a bus trip to Damascus (only 3 hours) and see Remon there (I can send you his tel.numbers if you wish). |

to have visited Amman for several days, looking for antiquities, I was deeply disappointed .... dry market in Damascus, Remon is without argumentation "THE EXPERT" in that field also, many other antiques dealers, who have some pieces sometimes interesting, they are regrouped in the "Metha Pacha Street" named also "Straight Street" à + Dom |

Yes, you're right Dom - "Madhat Pasha" and "Bab Sharki" are the best places to visit in Damascus. Also, it's good to hear from you Dom.
