Default Antique miniature wheellock pistol

I have noticed that on a number of true antique miniature wheellock pistols that they have 2 or sometimes 3 loops for chains to be attached to be worn as a kind of jewellery. I have a miniature wheellock that has one loop however on the stock behind the barrel there is an old repair which seems to be the right size and is in line with the remaining loop. Could this be where a second chain loop used to be present ? Would like to hear your thoughts
Thanks

I am trying to post more pictures but it’s saying the file extension is wrong ? Also when choosing the sizes of the images they are all to large but no option for smaller size
