Albacete dagger arrived today.
A nice surprise waiting at home when I got back this evening. Most are the dealers pics except the two in my hand.
With what looks to be the original scabbard. I thought this was card, covered with textile and brass, but I now think likely thin wood lath covered with same. |

Nice example
Very nice dagger David. Good clean blade, typical hilt and thin guard. It lacks the small cut out area with copper insert on the blade, but nevertheless a very neat version of a 19th C Albaceta knife. Plus an original sheath.

Yes, a very nice example with original scabbard. Congrats David but be careful, they are addictive! My examples.

Yes there is damage, some of the "inlay" has fallen off, on the other hand it has its scabbard and the price was attractive.
