Just Ended On Ebay
This just ended item 350160309487 I would like your opinions on what this is. I put in a bid on it but for some reason it did not go through. Here are the pictures.

Hi Norman, I have a credit card on file with the idiots at epray. I've never had a problem with this happening before either.

Hi Rick,
The smallsword I posted on the European section was purchased from a U.K. seller on E-bay two weeks ago, no problem. Might stick to local auctions if this is 'the shape of things to come'. Oh well never mind I might have cut myself on the sharp thingy. Regards, Norman. P.S. U.K. going to hell on roller skates these days. |

i also turned in a bid that did not go thru, wasn't rejected, just was like it never happened. the internet was having a great deal of difficulty last nite, i was having severe difficulties even getting web pages to load at all, my ISP (tiscali) this morning said that there had been 'difficulties' at the paddington exchange in london, but all services were restored this morning. anyhow, seems mandauman got a good deal, and if y'all had trouble bidding too, i don't feel so bad.
for norman, the UK ebay decided last sep. that they cannot sell any WMD's to children under 18, so they decided the best way to enforce it was to make people register a credit card as you cannot get a credit card until you are 18. no out for people who do not want one. big discussion here on that last fall when they enforced it. i applied for ebay/paypal's own visa pre-pay debit card, topped it up with Ģ5 'credit' and they accept that as proof i am over 18. funny bit is you can get that card if you are over 16 so will still allow under 18's to buy them nasty swordy things. |

just to be sure, i just tried bidding on an item ending next week, got to page you confirm bid, and then got an error 'page not responding'. have reported it to ebay for what good it will do, hope they fix it before that item ends.

...I bid as well but got asked to register a card - which I have already done.
I'm in the UK, so location's no part of the problem... |
