My best guess would be that it is a Riau keris or maybe a Terengganu keris, would like to read the comments from our Malay members and Gustav.
The other question is if the singha (?) carving at the gandik is original or a later addition. I also would like to see the hilt from the front. |

I agree with Sajen. The blade is not Bugis, does it fit well into the sheath slot? (original matching or not?).

Judging from the fittings, this is a northern Malay keris - possibly Terengganu, might be from further up North as well. How well does the blade fit the scabbard?? Quote:
