Default Sword - any ideas?

Any idea where this sword? may be from and any idea as to age. My first thought it Tibet or China.

Question

That's a tough one!

Dimensions & weight, please.

The folded over pommel is accidental damage, I guess?

Regards,
Kai

I'm actually not even sure this is a sword. It is certainly sword-like, but it does not seem to be either point or edge sharp. And i don't see any evidence there was ever a hilt over that "tang".

Perhaps a "weaving sword?"

Could it be a heavy tyre lever. My father had some about 15in long with a turn over edge like at the suggested pommel.
