Nice followed this on eBay, I asked the seller for better pictures of the blade but, he just posted more on his listing and I wasn't prepared to take a risk especially as the price increased...and the pictures (blade) were not very clear. Look forward to the pictures when you receive the dagger. Regards David |

yes, I know that this can become a problem, I'll try to find some help I have asked at the seller about the blade and he/she says that the rust is only superficial.... I'll show you some better pictures soon... Regards FLavio |

I was watching an almost identical one on ebay a week ago (http://cgi.ebay.ca/KORDOFAN-DAGGER_W...QQcmdZViewItem). The seller said it was from Kordofan (Sudan) and that he had seen them made there in the 1960s. Bladesmiths and hilt makers were in the same spot and customers could pick and mix blades with fittings as they wanted. Can anyone corroborate this? All the best, Emanuel |
