Hi Yves,
Nice Moro budiak. Is the brass (?) collar separate from the budiak? I believe the budiak itself has a tang that fixes it to the shaft, and the collar is separate and fits over the shaft. Is that the construction you find? Does the 19.75 in. include the brass collar? |

Hi kai,
While we await Yves close up of the base of the blade, I have blown up one of Yves' pictures to show that area. Are you especially interested in the area I have arrowed? This area is of interest to me and I would appreciate your thoughts on what it may represent. I have an idea of what it may be, but would like to hear your thoughts also. Ian . |
