More glorious than as depicted in David Lean's film! I never had directly seen actual examples of this clothing of this era until this spring at the Brimfield flea market. Apparently, there was a trunk of authentic 'ethnic' clothing that came out of an attic in the Boston area.

One of the greatest movies i have ever seen... and will ever see. The real “Aurens” would be proud of his "Replica".
Assuming it is the real thing, as no reason not to be, this is the jambiya Lawrence was given by Sherif Nasir in 1917, after the victory of the Arabs at Aqaba.
Present in the British Army Museum.
