Default Arabic blade with makers mark? Help needed

Who can tell me what this blade is?
A recent amateur handle was added so I did not include it in the photo (it only distracts from the blade)
One side has a double groove the other a single.
Strong curve and what I think is a makers mark?
Seems arabic to me?

Any ideas on what kind of blade it is, age etc?

Many thanks for your help and input in advance, Erik.

Hello Erik,

Does the blade base have a ricasso?

A sharper close-up of the marks would be great! I believe I've seen pseudo-Arabic marks with blades from eastern Europe, too...

Regards,
Kai

Default close up of markings

No ricasso that belongs either. Here a close up of the markings. It came in a small groups of weapons with also two Tulwar but also Western military sabres...
