I am curious why the fuller is darkened. Perhaps there is some lamination being accentuated there.

Very nice and at a price that passes as in the world of the sensible . I love the black. This is only the second Asian piece using the black iron scale as part of the decoration I have seen, both on this forum. Which is rather .
