OK Folks. This one has me completely stumped.

Approximately 1m in length.

Appears to be some sort of palm wood.

The wire is copper, typical of the "borrowed" electrical or telegraph wire that is seen in objects from a lot of cultures.

Below the wire is a binding of rope which appears purely decorative.

I have seen the Male over Female figures before, but cannot remember where or when.

The bone figure on top certainly looks like an addition but it looks as though it has been on there for a long time.. The glue appears to be some form of resin.

I am not even certain that they come from the same continent.

All suggests welcome.

Regards
Roy

The wood part looks African to me. I think you are right about the bone being an addition. Not as nice carving as the wood figures. I am not sure if it is even African? Other might have a better idea.
