Old Keris for sale
A restoration project. Mounts are poor, hilt has split and been glued, cup is broken, scabbard is rubbish.
Blade is nice! Appears to be ancient and with some TLC could be very fine. If my understanding of how they are counted is correct I count 8 luk. The blade is wide and stiff. It appears to have had something abrasive but flat run over the surface which is showing the high points as silver now. Possibly a fine file. The balde could use re-etching and staining, but it's a nice old blade and worth the effort. Price is £120. Paypal adds 4% +shipping at cost. Blade is just under 32cm not including tang or grip. |
