Very interesting kris
This most interesting kris just ended on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Phillipines-...vip=true&rt=nc
The seller only posted one blurred picture but I ask for some close ups. I have hoped that it went high like this and will be able to obtain it for low money but you can't win every time! So I hope that someone from the forum is the happy winner. Would like to know the age and origin of this nice kris. Here some pictures. |

Yes, Jose, this is the most intersting by this kris! The scabbard is wrapped with leather in old manner from 19th century when I see it correct.

Yes, indeed very similar. Is it an old Sulu style? What i also never have seen before is the way how the hilt is attached to the blade ( by the one I have posted).
