Dha nr 1 for comment please
I got some pieces from a friend who left germany decades ago. He forwarded some pieces that have been storaged 20 years and he thought that will fit better to my collection. But I‘m more experienced in the indonesian area
Here the first Dha approx 75 cm length. Thanks for your help. Best thomas |

Very nice everyday dha/daab that has been much used. The style looks northern Thai/Lao/Shan, while the struck mark adjacent to the hilt is similar to marks used by the Achang who live in southern Yunan. The blade is well preserved and of good quality. Likely 19th C but hard to say as similar blades were made well into the 20th C and continue today. A good quality working man's dha/daab.

I love these working daab. I recently picked one up as well. This one has OAL 82cm and spine .75cm at base of forte.
