Default What is this? Mandau or kampilan?

Looking for new kampilan images I have found this piece of a ended auction.
What is this?
I have never seen one like this...
Thanks in advance
Carlos

Looks like the blade is based on the mandau, and the hilt is definitely newer. In fact, the carving motifs on the hilt appear Borneo Dayak as well.

Though it is true that the Dayak also had kampilans, they didn't look like this early on.

The blade is mandau in profile, but it does not appear to be convex one side and concave on the other as mandau tend to be.
