Ottoman leather ammunition holder
These 2 seem identical, just the one is missing the outer leather cover. Anyone knows where they come from? They hava a "bosnian" feel to me.

Nice find Eftihis.
They both look Turkish/Ottoman to me. And similar to others I've seen, including one I own. Doesn't look Saudi or Omani. Nor Afghan. Again, nice find. Rick |

I vote for Bosnian or Albanian, the leather work is similar to the selahlik or bensilah. But I also agree with Rick the Turkish ones are also very similar... And are they really Turkish??

I can not comment on actual ORIGIN, but the top pic appears to show the Turkish star and crescent (above the leather lace).

Well the crescent and star means it belonged to amuslim, but was he a mainland Turk or a Balkan muslim?
