Cirebon warangka?
I acquired this keris form Indonesia. It came with a certificate from Museum Pusaka. They describe the warangka as Gayaman Gambilan but I tend to think the warangka is from Cirebon. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello Maurits,
This warangka is in capil style from East Java/ Madura, and the hilt is also from East Java. Regards |

Beautiful old pelet dress. I love this look.
I would agree with Jean. East Java. Would love to see the blade if you are willing. |

Is it genuine or fake pelet wood? Check if the black stain smoothly extends inside the slot of the gambar.
From my experience the certificates from the Museum Pusaka are not very reliable, especially regarding the estimated age of the blades.... |
