Hello Andi,

Those 2 Naga are interesting - good to see examples from some other Indonesian region (postings here have mainly covered Jawa and Sumatra so far)!

The 2 holes at the blade base are quite widespread. I wonder whether these are generally remnants of such a Naga motif?

BTW, are integral methuk standard for Sulawesi spears?

Bugis has a kind of dragon/ naga daun is both a dagger or spear, we call it the dragon leaves, to the hole in the bar, not only on a spear but in the keris is also there, and beberava variant, you used to call with doccili / ear, or the like in the picture bugis we call it teddo / piercings.
to spear Bugis metuk Courant blends with slats, not separately as few spears in Java,
